Why? Why did you change Toms sizing?
"I have been buying Toms' Alpargata shoes for at least 20 years. I first discovered them while on vacation at the Outer Banks of North Carolina. They were different. They were cool . And most importantly, they were comfortable and they fit my feet. That last part is no small feat. (Forgive me for that. ) They had an almond shaped, yet roomy toe box. Anyone out there with bunions, especially advanced bunions, or hammer toes will understand that this is rare and so appreciated by those of us who fear or just can't afford the painful surgery. Now I'm sure you're thinking, "We still offer that style. What's the problem?" The problem is I am a size 11. And other than having large feet, I can't size down to a 10 1/2 because you don't offer that size, and a 10 is too small. So now I can't buy Toms Shoes any more because the size 11 is too big! This isn't just ironic, it's sad. I tried on at least 15 pairs , both Classic and Plus, and they are all too big. This means all your female customers who have been buying size 11 cannot be your customers anymore. . I'm not sure how much of your base we represent, but if I am the only size 11 woman negatively affected by this increase in your sizing, you would have stopped making this size long ago. I should add that I have read many reviews from the fortunate women who can size down, and they are not happy about it. Please consider offering a size 10 1/2. I'm sure you will sell them. They finally started making sizes 9 1/2 and 11 when manufacturers finally realized the population is getting taller and feet are getting bigger. Needless to say, I am unfortunately returning these shoes. I hope they are not the last Toms I ever buy."

Half Sizes For ALL
"I'd buy nothing but Tom's, but all of my Tom's are tight. They get better with time, but never feel great. I would hope you could add half sizes for everyone. I mean what is good for everyone else should be offered for all. Size ten is not outrageous!"

"I’ve purchased about half a dozen pairs of Toms—specifically this style. These were the most ill-fitting of them all. I generally wear a size 8. 5 shoe, and Alpargatas have always fit in a size 8. The right shoe fit fine, but the left was much wider and longer and flapped like a flip-flop when walking. Super annoying. Unfortunately, I “assumed” they’d fit like prior shoes but they didn’t and I’d hoped to take them on a trip, but they just don’t fit, and I’m leaving them home. My husband said I should return them, but it’s probably been too long to return. Sigh, very disappointing. ."
