"My son really struggles to get these on even with a shoe horn. he complains that the rim cuts into his heel a bit. I washed the shoes and tumble dried them in the hopes that they would soften up a bit but that hasn't helped. The rear pull tab could be a bit bigger to grab on to. The elastic opening at the front needs to be more generous or perhaps an additional elastic opening down the side. We really miss the velcro opening of the toddler size."
